Muaro Jambi Temple is one of the largest historical sites in Southeast Asia that preserves the richness of ancient culture and civilization. Located in Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi Province, this temple complex is a great legacy of the glory of the Malay and Srivijaya Kingdoms which are believed to have existed since the 7th century.

Now, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (KEMENDIKBUDRISTEK) is proud to manage this historic site as an effort to preserve the nation's culture and history. Introduction to Muara Jambi Temple

Muara Jambi Temple is one of the largest and most significant temple complexes in Southeast Asia. Located in Jambi Province, Indonesia, this site offers in-depth insight into the history, culture and religion that flourished in the region between the 7th and 13th centuries AD. Located on the banks of the Batanghari River, about 26 km from Jambi city center, the complex includes more than 80 structures, including temples, stupas and towers.
